Applications are invited for the permanent position of Senior Medical Scientist - Immunology in the Pathology Department of St. Vincent’s University Hospital. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The post holder, in co-operation with the Chief Medical Scientist and the Consultant Head of Department will:

• Participate in the organisation and co-ordination of a patient centred cost effective  Immunology service.

• Participate in the implementation and maintenance of a quality management system in Immunology.
• The Department of Immunology performs a large range of tests that aid in the diagnosis of autoimmune diseases and allergy, and certain types of malignancy.
