Applications are invited for the position of Locum Consultant Respiratory & General Physician s.i. Cystic Fibrosis at St. Vincent's University Hospital. The role will be 1.0 WTE in Respiratory.

Contract Type: Specified Purpose Contract (Pending the recruitment and appointment of the permanent post holder) - Public Only Consultant Contract 2023 – 37 Hours St. Vincent's University Hospital.

Post description:

- This post will provide inpatient, outpatient, and day care to patients with Cystic Fibrosis attending the National Referral Centre for Adult Cystic Fibrosis at St. Vincent’s University Hospital.
- This post will provide a one in four 24-hour call and weekend call to the National Referral Centre for Adult Cystic Fibrosis at St. Vincent’s University Hospital.
- The post will also provide care to patients with non-Cystic Fibrosis bronchiectasis, other Respiratory Diseases along with the other Cystic Fibrosis Consultants.
- The post will participate in Rapid Access Lung Clinics in St. Vincent’s University Hospital.
- The post will provide respiratory consultation and bronchoscopy services in St. Vincent’s University Hospital.
- This post will provide undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and will be involved with audit and research.
