Applications are invited for the permanent position of Patient Feedback and Complaints Manager (Grade VII) in the Quality Department of St Vincent's University Hospital. 
 
Role Summary: The Quality and Patient Safety (QPS) Patient Feedback & Complaints Manager will work with the current team to expand and support the development of Patient Feedback & Complaints process within SVUH. Given the publication of the overarching Patient Safety Strategy 2019 – 2024 by the HSE, the National Patient Experience Survey, and the Patient Safety Bill there is increased focus on building real and meaningful partnerships between patients and those working in healthcare. Person centred care will generate a more compassionate healthcare system that responds to our patients, learns from when things do wrong and seeks to improve the patient experience while placing the patient voice at the heart of the process.
 
The Patient Feedback & Complaints Manager will coordinate and support for the expansion of the Patient Feedback & Complaints service with regard to actioning outputs from national and local patient satisfaction surveys to drive improvements in how SVUH empowers and engages with our patients as partners in their healthcare journey. The Patient Feedback & Complaints Manager will additionally provide support & education to head of Departments/ Team/ Clinical staff in relation to the management of formal and local resolution complaints and track and trend data within the organisation to determine additional areas for outreach & development.
