Role Overview
This is an exciting senior leadership opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to lead innovation and transformation in the care of older adults across Emergency Department, Acute Medical, and Home-based settings, as part of the progressive EDITH (Emergency Department in the Home) model. The successful candidate will be a key driver of excellence in evidence-based practice, clinical education, research, and service development, working within a dynamic multidisciplinary environment. This Clinical Specialist post offers the opportunity to influence national practice through expert clinical decision-making, care pathway design, and strategic planning. The role requires advanced clinical expertise, a strong commitment to leadership and mentorship, and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement in complex and fast-paced acute care services.
