Applications are invited for the permanent position of Clinical Nurse Manager 3 - ICU within St. Vincent's University Hospital. 

Role Summary: 

The post holder will in conjunction with the Assistant Director of Nursing be responsible for the 
management and co-ordination of the nursing service to patients within the Critical Care Area. (ICU) 
This will include operational and strategic management to ensure the smooth running and efficient 
use of the divisional resources. The post holder requires an in-depth knowledge of Risk Management 
and Clinical Audit as well as educational, research and management skills. The post holder will be 
expected to co-ordinate and deliver healthcare to patients and to liaise with multidisciplinary teams 
members in SVUH. The post holder will deputise for the Assistant Director of Nursing in his/her 
absence.
