Applications are invited for the position of Senior Medical Social Worker in the Medical Social Work Department of St. Vincent’s University Hospital.

Overview: The senior medical social worker is responsible for the provision of a professional social work service to the patients referred to the social work department of St. Vincent’s University Hospital. To disseminate best practice guidelines and to actively participate in the management of the social work department as agreed with the head of department. To continually develop and maintain high standards of Social Work Practice within the Social Work Team. The Senior Medical Social Worker will also be required to work across all areas within the social work department at the discretion of the Principal Medical Social Worker.
