Description
The Senior Occupational Therapist will:
- Maintain professional standards of practice for both self and assigned staff.
- Manage their own caseload, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of treatment programmes in line with service standards.
- Ensure high-quality documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, reports, and discharge summaries in accordance with professional and local service standards.
- Foster and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, frontline managers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to service planning and development alongside the Occupational Therapist Manager, anticipating the evolving needs of the Neurology Inpatient Service and its users.
- Provide leadership and support for the professional development of occupational therapy staff and students.
Panel: A panel may be formed to fill upcoming permanent and whole-time vacancies over the next 6 months.
