Description
Applications are invited for the temporary position of Senior Occupational Therapist – Acute Medicine within St. Vincent’s University Hospital.
Role Summary: As Senior OT in Acute Medicine the post holder will be expected to utilise high level clinical skills, intervention, education and rehabilitation skills to ensure they and all Occupational Therapy staff in this area provide all patients a timely, quality and equitable service.
The main areas within the Acute Medicine remit but not limited to are: rheumatology, infectious diseases, oncology, haematology, Gastro and respiratory medicine. The Senior OT, will act as team lead for varied medical teams and MDT teams that come under the umbrella of acute medicine. This may include cover to ED and AMU also if required.
Panel: A panel may be formed to fill upcoming temporary. part-time and whole-time vacancies over the next 6 months.
