Applications are welcomed for the permanent position of Candidate Clinical Nurse Specialist / Clinical Nurse Specialist - EDITH in St. Vincent’s University Hospital.  

Emergency Department in The Home (EDITH) is a pathway which aims to bring the skills and expertise of the Emergency Department into the community. Referrals are predominantly obtained from GPs, primary care teams, nursing homes and the National Ambulance Service. The EDITH team consists of Emergency Medicine Doctors, ANP, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. The EDITH team travel out to patient homes where they provide assessment, treatment and referral onward if necessary, and where possible complete full episodes of care.
