Applications are welcomed for the temporary position of a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2) - Vascular in St. Vincent’s University Hospital.
The management of patients with Vascular Disease demands a broad range of professional skills and knowledge such as communication, leadership, education, research and counselling. The role of the Vascular Clinical Nurse Specialist is to deliver specialist individual education, evaluation, monitoring, practical and emotional support for a caseload of vascular patients and their families within the scope of their own professional practice. They work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for all vascular patients and also provide an email and telephone advice service to patients and their families. The post holder will also be expected to contribute to nurse led quality initiatives which meet national, regional and local standards within the speciality.
