Description
Applications are invited for the permanent position of Clinical Nurse Manager 2 – Dystonia/Cognitive in the Nursing Directorate of St. Vincent’s University Hospital.
The Cognitive nurse will attend and assist in a consultant led clinic every Monday to support the Consultant Neurologist, Dr Justin Kinsella. Phone clinics are operated weekly and an email service are provided by the Nurse (9am-5pm Mon-Fri) which allow the patients or Health Care Professionals (HCPs) to contact the service directly with any queries or symptoms. The CNM2 will run a nurse led post diagnostic clinic on Tuesday to patients who have recently received a diagnosis of Dementia. The CNM2 will run a Brain Health clinic on a Thursday morning to those living with mild cognitive impairment. Provides review of inpatients on wards and attendance to ED
