Applications are invited for the permanent position of Clinical Nurse Manager 3 – Acute Virtual Ward within St. Vincent's University Hospital.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a clinical team delivering care within an Acute Virtual Ward, one of the first of its kind to be established in the Irish Health Service.  

Purpose of the post:

The post holder will provide professional and clinical leadership contributing to the operational and strategic development of the Acute Virtual Ward and oversee the management of resources including staffing and staff development. The post holder will be expected to co-ordinate and deliver healthcare to patients and to liaise with multidisciplinary teams members in SVUH and primary care teams in the community where necessary. The post holder might also deputise for the Assistant Director of Nursing in his/her absence.
