Description
Applications are invited for the position of Senior Occupational Therapist – Acute Medicine within St. Vincent’s University Hospital. A panel will be formed to fill any future vacancies that arise in the next six months in the area.
As Senior OT in Acute Medicine the post holder will be expected to utilise high level clinical skills, intervention, education and rehabilitation skills to ensure they and all Occupational Therapy staff in this area provide all patients a timely, quality and equitable service.
The main areas within the Acute Medicine remit but not limited to are: rheumatology, infectious diseases, oncology, haematology, Gastro and respiratory medicine. The Senior OT, will act as team lead for varied medical teams and MDT teams that come under the umbrella of acute medicine. This may include cover to ED and AMU also if required.
