Description
Applications are invited for the permanent position of Staff Nurse - Acute Medical Assessment Unit (AMAU) in the Nursing Directorate of St. Vincent’s University Hospital.
Role Summary:
This is a 41 bedded Unit, 11 acute medical assessment unit beds and a 30 bedded acute medicine unit. It accepts patients who require acute medical assessment and treatment and short stay admissions for up to 72 hours from the Emergency Department (ED).
The Staff Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards within the model of nursing care practice.
