Description
Applications are invited for the permanent position of CNM2 - Endoscopy Triage in the Nursing Directorate of St. Vincent’s University Hospital.
Purpose of the Post: The CNM2 will co-ordinate and lead in the implementation and provision of quality care in the Endoscopy Unit.
The purpose of this post is to lead and coordinate triage of GI endoscopy referrals and assign patients to the most clinically appropriate care pathway.
The objective of the role is to avoid unnecessary procedures for patients and to contribute to the efficient use of endoscopy capacity in the hospital.
The CNM2 Endoscopy Triage will work as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team providing support to endoscopy unit colleagues and referring clinicians. Through the course of triaging referrals, it may be necessary to contact patients directly.
