Description
Applications are invited for the permanent position of Head of Systems Management in the ICT Department of St. Vincent’s University Hospital.
Overview: The role of the Head of Systems Management will at its core develop and manage the following areas:
- The data management function
- Data Governance responsibilities
- Managing the RIDD (Reporting | Integration | Database | Development)
- Systems integration and interfacing
- Database administration and support
- Data analysis & Reporting
- Systems Development
As we continue to focus on the implementation of clinical solutions the ability to integrate, support and report from these systems both within SVUH and across the Group is becoming increasingly important.
There is clear need for establishing data collection and recording controls and consistent processes to be implemented. The ICT department needs to include provision for a data quality and data governance assurance function. This is to ensure that data is safely and effectively managed and of a quality to enable it to be used as a corporate resource. The HSM will be responsible for developing, maintaining and applying consistent data governance collection and recording standards.
The Head of Systems Management manages, coordinates and is responsible for the integrity of all aspects and manpower concerned with data. They will be expected to maximise both human and technical resources to enhance the quality of systems management within the Hospital.
