Commencing immediately start date
The UCD-SVUH PET CT Imaging Research Centre at St Vincent’s
Hospital has an opening for an enthusiastic and flexible full time Clinical PET
CT Imaging Fellowship position available immediately/flexible start date. The
post would be suitable for a person who has completed training in Radiology or
Nuclear Medicine.
This is a busy clinical post intended to provide day to day cover
for the service and will involve vetting, supervision and reporting of a range
of PET-CT studies to cover oncology, neurology and cardiac applications.
Clinical tracers in use include F18 and Gallium68. Under the guidance of a team
of PET CT radiologists, the fellow will be involved in the quality control
processes, application of appropriateness criteria and will be responsible for
the technical integrity of the imaging study. The fellow will be actively
involved in service development and research studies undertaken within the PET
CT Imaging Centre. The fellow will also take an active role in the preparation
and presentation of cases at multiple multidisciplinary meetings.
The fellow is expected to hold an MB or equivalent and CCST in
Radiology or Nuclear Medicine. You should be highly motivated, work well
within a multidisciplinary team, and be able to work to deadlines. In addition you
should be able to work without close supervision and plan as well as prioritise
your workload.
